Sofía Alazraki, in collaboration with dancer Aimilios Arapoglou, presents a performance within Aguas Frescas, a work by Bárbara Sánchez-Kane, staged at Performance Space New York. The performance is structured around the quantification of fatigue, the almost clinical logic of a world in which endurance itself has become measurable. In dialogue with Sánchez-Kane’s installation, we see a body subjected to a field of repetition in which external pressures accumulate, saturating both its anatomy and its temporality. What remains is an atmosphere of fragile persistence: a physical presence that continues to exist within forces it cannot entirely name, no longer resistance but perhaps pure submission.
